Matka King was announced by Amazon in June 2024 as part of its Prime Video slate, with Vijay Varma leading the series. After nearly two years of focused production to recreate 1960s Bombay with precision, the crime series finally premiered today on Amazon Prime Video.

Rooted in Hindi for authenticity, the show expands its reach in multiple languages including Telugu and Tamil, along with several international subtitle options, opening it up to a wider global audience.

At its core, the story follows Brij Bhatti, a modest cotton trader whose rise in the Matka gambling network turns him into a powerful force, reflecting ambition, risk, and the cost of power in an underground world.

The 8-episode series also features Sai Tamhankar, Gulshan Grover, Kritika Kamra, and Siddharth Jadhav in key roles. Directed by Nagraj Manjule, it is backed by a strong creative team, with music and technical craft supporting its gritty period setting.

Gaayapadda Simham has locked its OTT partner ahead of release, with Amazon Prime Video bagging the digital rights. The film is gearing up for a theatrical release on May 1, and the OTT deal has added to its pre-release buzz.

The movie features Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary as the female leads, bringing freshness to the project. Popular actor JD Chakravarthy will also be seen in a key role, adding weight to the cast.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh hit theaters on March 19, 2026, clashing with Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Directed by and starring Ken Karunas, this coming of age drama is now streaming on Netflix in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Given its strong theatrical performance and positive word of mouth, the film is expected to gain even more traction on OTT.

The film features Devadarshini, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anishma Anilkumar, Priyanshi Yadav, and Meenakshi Dinesh in key roles. Youth is produced jointly by Karuppiah C. Ram and Sulochana Kumar, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Bollywood web movie Toaster has just been released on Netflix, starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles. Vivek Das Chaudhary directs this dark comedy thriller.

Surprisingly, the film, which revolves around a Rs. 5,000 toaster given as a wedding gift, is now available in Telugu, Tamil, and English in addition to Hindi. How well it will entertain audiences remains to be seen.

Mollywood mystery thriller Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu began streaming today, April 15, 2026, on JioHotstar, coinciding with the Vishu festival. Directed by debutant Jithu Satheesan Mangalathu, the film features Askar Ali in the lead, with Vineeth Kumar and Sidharth Bharathan in important roles.

After its earlier theatrical release, the film has now arrived on OTT to reach a wider audience. It is available in Malayalam, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is adapted from the director’s own short film Sambhavam, which has been developed into a full-length feature.

The story follows three Kerala police officers who enter a restricted forest along the Kerala Tamil Nadu border to search for a missing colleague. What begins as a routine investigation soon takes an unusual turn as they encounter strange events inside the forest. As time seems to repeat, they find themselves caught in a mysterious cycle and try to understand what is happening. The film had a modest run in theatres, collecting around Rs. 5 to 6 crore worldwide.

Apart from the lead cast, the sleeper hit includes supporting performances by Assim Jamal and Senthil Krishna. It is produced under the banner of Nalla Cinema Productions, with music composed by Godwin Thomas. Now streaming across multiple languages, the film’s reception on OTT is eagerly awaited.
