Ramayana

Bollywood is gearing up for one of its most ambitious projects with Ramayana, a grand retelling of the epic. Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, the film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and mounted on a massive budget of over Rs 4000 crore.

The film recently grabbed global attention after being showcased at CinemaCon 2026, becoming the first Indian film to receive such early-stage international promotion. This exposure significantly boosted its buzz, but also triggered widespread speculation online.

One of the biggest rumours claimed that Warner Bros. has come on board to distribute Ramayana worldwide after being impressed by its presentation. The claim quickly went viral, with many believing it due to the film’s scale and growing hype.

However, there is no truth to these reports. As of now, there is no official confirmation of any such deal, and the Warner Bros distribution buzz remains completely unfounded. If a collaboration of this scale were to happen, it would be formally announced by the makers.

The film also stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana, with more casting announcements expected soon. It is produced by Namit Malhotra under Prime Focus Studios, in association with Monster Mind Creations and the Oscar-winning VFX company DNEG.

Designed as a premium cinematic experience, Ramayana is being shot for IMAX and will also release in Dolby Cinema formats, positioning it as a major visual spectacle. The first part of the film is slated to hit theatres during Diwali 2026, with more updates expected soon.

Dacoit Review

A few Telugu films were released this Friday, but most of them failed to make a significant impact at the box office. This has allowed Dacoit to maintain its strong hold over audiences through the weekend.

Released on April 10, 2026, the film received positive responses from both critics and audiences, marking the best opening of Adivi Sesh’s career. Mrunal Thakur stars alongside him in this romantic revenge saga, which continues to post steady numbers even on its 19th day, Sunday. More than 27.54K tickets were sold on BookMyShow alone, highlighting the film’s sustained popularity and strong word of mouth during the weekend.

With a global gross exceeding Rs. 50 crore, it remains to be seen how much further this Telugu-Hindi bilingual, directed by Shaneil Deo, can push its overall total. Stay tuned for more updates on Dacoit.
