Aamir Khan&#8217;s son Junaid Khan plays the male lead, and the movie is up for release on May 1. Produced by Aamir Khan, the movie is struggling big time to generate momentum among the theatre-going audiences, with the advance bookings being disappointing.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din&#8217;s advances surprisingly commenced a month ago, an unusual trend seen in the industry. Despite the team&#8217;s consistent efforts to take the romantic drama closer to the audience, the film didn&#8217;t manage to pique the viewer&#8217;s interest, and trade hints at an opening in the range of Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 2 crores.<\/p>\n<p>The genre and limited awareness around the movie are holding it back, and to make an impact, Ek Din will have to receive highly positive reviews from the early shows. However, Aamir Khan believes that the film will find its footing slowly.
