Despite his recent injury, the star actor is set to return to the sets, with Gopichand Malineni at the helm. The project has already created considerable curiosity, and fans are now waiting to see what the makers have in store.

The wait is almost over. Vriddhi Cinemas has announced that a special update will arrive on September 6, 2026. While the details remain under wraps, there is strong speculation that the team could unveil the film’s title along with its release date. Adding fuel to the buzz, reports suggest that December 24, 2026 has been locked for the theatrical release.

If that date holds, Balakrishna’s film could face a major Christmas clash with Nagarjuna’s King 100, his milestone film. The competition does not end there, with Shah Rukh Khan’s King, Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three also locked for the Christmas window, making December a fiercely packed box-office season

Kajal Aggarwal is paired with Balakrishna in the film, while Thaman S is composing the music. The project has also locked ZEE5 as its official streaming partner. For now, all eyes are on September 6, when the makers are expected to finally clear the air on the title, release date and other key details.

Who let the LION out? 🦁

The reason for the season arrives on September 6th.

Stay tuned… #NBK111 🔥 pic.twitter.com/FHwlTaYB4s

— Vriddhi Cinemas (@vriddhicinemas) August 31, 2026

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next, tentatively referred to as NBK111, is gearing up for a major update.
