Bhoot Bangla Box Office: Akshay Kumar Film Crosses Rs 47 Cr in 2 Days, Eyes Rs 60 Cr Opening Weekend

Bhoot Bangla, the latest Bollywood horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar, hit theatres on April 17, 2026. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film opened to mixed reactions at the box office.

After two days in theatres, the film has grossed over Rs. 47.25 crore in the domestic market, according to the makers. The collections saw a steady jump on Saturday, bringing in Rs. 25.65 crore gross, slightly higher than its opening day numbers.

With Sunday expected to show further growth, Bhoot Bangla is on track to close its opening weekend at around Rs. 60 crore gross. In terms of nett collections, the film has crossed Rs. 39 crore, including earnings from paid premieres.

The film also features Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar in prominent roles. Produced by Akshay Kumar along with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, the film’s music is composed by Pritam.
