Jr. NTR’s Dragon first glimpse showcased the lead actor as an assassin, a character that drew the audience’s interest instantly. According to the latest Bollywood media reports, actress Alia Bhatt will also entertain audiences in a similar role through her upcoming film Alpha.
Though Alpha is a spy film belonging to the YRF Spy Universe, the makers reportedly wanted to change the approach this time to avoid repetitiveness and offer a fresh experience to viewers.
There have been complaints about the franchise for some time, and its last two films, Tiger 3 and War 2, did not yield the desired results. Hence, Aditya Chopra is said to have designed a unique characterization for Alia Bhatt with a shock factor.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film also stars Sharvari in another lead role. Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol will appear in pivotal roles. The biggie is scheduled for release on July 10, 2026.
