Peddi Premieres on a High; Early Trade Estimates Suggest a Rs. 21 Crore India Gross

The sports action drama Peddi has opened to highly positive reviews following its premiere shows. Starring Ram Charan in the titular role, the film has made a strong impression under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana.

Despite encountering minor multiplex issues during its paid premiere screenings, Peddi witnessed a phenomenal response from audiences. According to early trade estimates, the film grossed around Rs. 21 crore from its paid premieres in India, with worldwide collections expected to reach the Rs. 40 crore mark. Official figures from the makers are still awaited.

Viewers have particularly praised the film’s emotional depth and Ram Charan’s powerful, physically demanding performance. Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas, the film features a stellar supporting cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu. The experience is further elevated by an immersive musical score from Academy Award winner AR Rahman.
