Yash’s Toxic has once again been postponed, leaving fans disappointed. The film is a high budget father and son revenge saga set in old Goa, directed by Geetu Mohandas. With its postponement from June 4, 2026, the big question now is which movie will take that release slot.
At the moment, there are no major films scheduled for that week except Rao Bahadur, which is set to release on June 5. Meanwhile, Peddi and Lenin are planned for June 25 and June 26 respectively.
Fans are now wondering why Peddi cannot be preponed, especially since its shoot is almost complete and postproduction is already in progress. With no other big releases lined up for most of the month, this move could be a major advantage for the film.
It would also allow Lenin to have a smoother run at the box office. Ultimately, however, the decision rests with the makers of Peddi. The film stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with music composed by AR Rahman.
Srinivasa Mangapuram is the next directorial venture of Ajay Bhupathi, featuring Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni and Rasha Thadani as the lead pair. The film’s latest song has now been released digitally by Natural Star Nani.
The song, “Allele Allele,” composed by GV Prakash Kumar, is melodic and showcases the warmth of the lead pair’s love. The soulful vocals of GV Prakash Kumar and Hari Priya add depth to Shreemani’s lyrics. The track has a pleasant vibe, making it perfect for playlists. Adding to that, the lead pair looks impressive on screen.
Mohan Babu will be seen in a negative role in this love action drama. The project is presented by Ashwini Dutt and produced by P. Kiran under the Chandamama Kathalu banner. With shooting progressing at a brisk pace, the film is expected to hit screens later this year.
The silence from Yash’s camp has finally ended, but the update comes as a disappointment. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups will no longer release on June 4, 2026, with the team officially confirming the postponement.
After the massive success of the KGF franchise, expectations around Toxic were sky-high. Fans who had been eagerly counting down to the release are now facing yet another delay, extending the wait for Yash’s return to the big screen.
The makers have termed this a strategic move aimed at ensuring a better global rollout and enhancing the film’s overall scale. However, the immediate reaction from fans has largely been disappointment, as the new release date is yet to be announced.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features a strong cast including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Adarsh Gourav, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth, along with Tovino Thomas and Akshay Oberoi in key roles.
With music composed by Ravi Basrur, Tanishk Bagchi, and Faheem Abdullah, the film remains one of the most ambitious Indian projects in the making.
The delay is also expected to trigger a reshuffle in release calendars, as other films may now eye the vacated slot. Meanwhile, fans continue to wait for a new release date announcement.
