Jetlee

The release of Satya and Ritesh Rana’s Jetlee, presented by Mythri Movie Makers, has been boycotted by several theatres, including multiplexes in Telangana. The issue stems from the disagreement over the revenue-sharing model between TFCC and the Active Producers Guild. While Mythri supported the rental system, TFCC opted for a percentage sharing model.

Asian Chain and all those theatres under the control of SVC that prefer percentage sharing refrained from screening Jetlee. Mythri Distributors LLP responded to the issue through a statement calling it unfair. Mythri argued that Jetlee has not been allowed to screen even in multiplexes where there are no issues or disagreements on sharing terms.

Mythri Distributors LLP opined that blocking a film in one segment of the business to force acceptance of terms in another segment looks like arm-twisting and called it a bad example of how to run the business.

Mythri believes that Jetlee will be allowed to screen in those multiplex properties without any further ado, and made it clear that they are open to discussions.

For some days, reports have been doing the rounds that Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna will join hands with star director Koratala Siva. Today, the makers made the official announcement confirming the project in their combination.

Devara makers Yuvasudha Arts, the banner owned by Koratala Siva’s close associate, will bankroll the project in association with SLV Cinemas. “Power meets purpose. Mass becomes a movement,” read the announcement poster, hinting at a strong, message-driven commercial entertainer.

The filming will begin very soon. Since NTR is busy with Neel’s film, it will take some time for Devara 2 to start, and hence, Koratala decided to do one film in the meantime. The collaboration news has indeed brought a wave of excitement among Nandamuri fans.

Fauzi

Fauzi

India’s biggest superstar Prabhas is gearing up for an exciting phase in his career with a strong lineup of films over the next few years. One of the most anticipated among them is Fauzi, a period war action drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film promises a compelling blend of intense battlefield action and an emotional romantic storyline. It also introduces Imanvi as the female lead, marking her debut alongside the pan Indian star.

The project has recently grabbed attention again after the producers at Mythri Movie Makers shared an interesting update about its narrative scope. While the film is not planned as a conventional sequel based franchise, the makers have hinted at the possibility of a prequel. They revealed that there is a significant unexplored gap in the storyline, which opens the door to delve into the origins of the protagonist. Early pre production work for this potential expansion is already said to be in progress.

If this idea materialises, it would mark another ambitious multi part project in Prabhas’s career. It would also be the first time Hanu Raghavapudi expands his storytelling into a larger franchise format. The aim is to present a more layered narrative that explores the emotional depth and ideological journey of its characters, adding greater weight to the story.

The film is being mounted on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers, with a reported budget exceeding Rs. 700 crore. The cast further strengthens the project, featuring experienced actors such as Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty, and Chaitra J Achar in key roles. With music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, Fauzi is confirmed to release in multiple languages later this year, making it one of the most ambitious and talked about Indian films in production.
