Marty Supreme has officially become A24’s highest grossing film, earning over $190 million at the global box office. The film was widely praised by both critics and audiences, securing nine Oscar nominations, including Best Actor for Timothée Chalamet. However, despite the strong buzz, it did not win any awards at the ceremony.

The film is now available for Indian viewers via digital rental platforms. It can be rented on Amazon Prime Video for Rs. 119 and on BookMyShow Stream for Rs. 99. Currently, the film is only available in its original English version, with no multilingual audio options.

The film follows a driven young man navigating ambition, fame and personal chaos, as his relentless pursuit of success begins to blur the line between control and self destruction. This marks the first solo directorial venture of Josh Safdie, known for his intense and fast paced storytelling style.

Made on a budget of $70 million, the film was produced by A24, with music composed by Daniel Lopatin. Alongside Chalamet, the film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyler, the Creator in key roles.

According to Netflix data for April 13 to April 19, 2026, Ustaad Bhagat Singh secured the third spot in the non-English category with 2.5 million views and 6.2 million hours watched. Youth followed in fourth place with 2.2 million views and 5.2 million hours.

These numbers highlight a clear trend. While content may win in theatres, star power often takes the lead on OTT. Streaming platforms are increasingly becoming a second chance for big-budget films to find a wider audience.

The first installment of Dhurandhar, released in December 2025, turned out to be a box office sensation, grabbing everyone’s attention. The sequel has continued that momentum, performing even bigger and reinforcing the franchise’s strong hold.

Now, there’s good news for Telugu audiences. Star Maa has announced the world television premiere of the Telugu version of Dhurandhar on May 31, 2026, at 2:30 PM.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and led by Ranveer Singh, the spy thriller features a strong ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, with music composed by Shashwat Sachdev.

With its television premiere approaching, it remains to be seen how the film performs with home audiences. Given its theatrical success, expectations around its TRP ratings are naturally high.

There have been news articles claiming that the biopic of legendary Indian actress Madhubala will be fronted by Dhurandhar fame Sara Arjun. The latest report on Variety India suggests that the much-hyped biopic may be released directly on OTT.

Jasmeet K Reen, who made her directorial debut with Alia Bhatt’s Darlings, is expected to helm the project. Interestingly, Darlings also had a direct-to-digital release on Netflix in 2022.

Well-known filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has come on board as the producer for this biographical film. The Dhurandhar actress is currently said to have been undergoing a physical transformation to embody Madhubala’s iconic beauty.

The recent Malayalam blockbuster Aadu 3 is gearing up for its OTT debut. The movie will start streaming from May 1 on ZEE5 as per the latest update. Aadu 3 will be available in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada audios simultaneously.

Written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Aadu 3 is the third installment of the Aadu Series and the first of a two-part film. Despite mixed reviews, Aadu 3 collected a solid Rs. 125 crores at the box office globally.

Headlined by Jayasurya, the movie also stars Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Renji Panicker, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bhagat Manuel, Indrans, Bijukuttan, Sudhi Koppa, and others in key roles. Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is the latest outing of Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty. This futuristic romantic drama is helmed by Vignesh Shivan, but it failed to make a significant impact at the box office despite Pradeep’s successful streak.

As per rumours, the movie is likely to arrive on Amazon Prime Video for streaming on May 15, 2026. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, it is expected to have a multilingual release.

Backed by Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the film also features SJ Suryah and Yogi Babu in key roles. Stay tuned for more OTT-related news.
