Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s last outing, They Call Him OG, generated a massive pre-release buzz before shattering box office records to become the highest-grossing Tollywood movie of 2025.

Directed by Sujeeth, the action thriller is back in the news due to exciting updates regarding its upcoming world television premiere. Reports indicate that the ETV channel has successfully snagged the satellite rights and will soon telecast the blockbuster hit.

Priyanka Arul Mohan stars as the leading lady in this big-budget venture, which features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist. The film also boasts a stellar supporting cast, including Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. Produced under the banner of DVV Entertainment, the project features a powerful musical score composed by Thaman.

Brothers and Sisters:

Directed by Chidambaram Manivannan, the Tamil family drama tells the story of a strict patriarch whose hidden relationship puts his united family at risk. The series stars Bose Venkat, Gayathri Shastry, Nikhila Sankar, Luthuf, Kishore, Shravnitha Srikanth, Siddharth Babu, Pramodini, Namritha, and Raj Ayyappa in key roles. It will start streaming from May 27 on Jio Hotstar.

Roommates:

This Kannada comedy-drama revolves around four friends, whose simple lives take a chaotic turn after a minor cricket-ground argument escalates into a major ego clash under their landlord’s supervision. Aashith, Aahan, Jerome, and Sachin Kumar Pawar play the lead roles. Darshan Shinde is the director. The show will start streaming on ZEE5 from May 27.

Spider Noir:

Spider Noir is an American superhero noir television series developed by Oren Uziel for MGM+ and Prime Video. Based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Spider-Man Noir, the series follows an aging private investigator and superhero in 1930s New York City who grapples with his past. The series starring Nicolas Cage will stream from May 27 on Prime Video.

Kara:

The heist thriller starring Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles follows a robber’s repeated attempts to loot banks in a bid to secure financial freedom for his family. Directed by Vignesh Raja, the film is set to make its digital debut on Netflix on May 28 in multiple languages. KS Ravi Kumar, Jayaram, and Suraj Venjaramoodu played key roles.

Cousins & Kalyanayams:

This dramedy series follows six cousins as they navigate family bonds, emotional struggles, and life-changing moments amid weddings and celebrations. Cousins and Kalyanams is directed by Vishnu Chandran and Kannan Thamarakkulam and produced under the Epic Company banner. The family drama will start streaming on JioHotstar from May 29. The series will consist of 60 episodes, with four new episodes releasing every Friday. Nainita Maria, Nandita, Manaswini Ram, Manya Mallika, Siddarth Babu, and Krishna Vijay play the lead roles.

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is witnessing a massive surge in viewership on Netflix India at a time when the actor is already dominating headlines over the ongoing Don 3 controversy. Interestingly, both versions of the blockbuster spy thriller are currently trending on the platform, turning the film into a major talking point once again among OTT audiences.

The recently released Dhurandhar: Raw & Undekha cut has climbed to the No. 2 spot on Netflix trends, while the original version is also holding strong in the Top 10 at No. 8. The uncensored edition has especially grabbed attention for restoring the intense dialogues and raw moments that were altered earlier, prompting many viewers to revisit the gritty espionage drama.

The film’s fresh OTT momentum is also being linked to the nonstop buzz surrounding Ranveer Singh in recent days. Popular comedian Jetlee played the protagonist in the recent comedy thriller Jetlee. The film is directed by Ritesh Rana who helmed the Mathu Vadhalara franchise. The movie didn’t get the desired response in theatres.

Jetlee is now available to stream on Jio Hotstar in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. Given the genre, Jetlee is expected to amass decent viewership. Former Miss Universe India Rhea Singha played the female lead.
