Gunasekhar’s recent bold film Euphoria, starring Dhurandhar fame Sara Arjun, didn’t perform well in theatres but went on to win two Gaddar Awards. The film is set for its OTT premiere tomorrow (April 2) on ETV Win, and the makers held a press meet this evening to promote its digital release.
Speaking at the event, Gunasekhar said, “The film might not have performed well because of its title too. I request audiences to watch such content-driven films in theatres. Two OTT platforms even refused to buy the film due to its bold content and its unfiltered narration. OTT platforms generally don’t have many inhibitions, but even they were hesitant to acquire the rights.”
The film also features Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nassar, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likhitha Yalamanchali, Addala Prudhviraj, and Kalpa Latha in key roles. Produced by Neelima Guna and Yuktha Guna, the movie has music by Kaala Bhairava.
