There is massive excitement all over for Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The gangster action drama also features Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan, Shoubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. Already, the makers revealed that the film received an A certificate in India.
This update is a shocker to many, as none saw it coming. In the last two decades, Coolie is the only Rajini film to receive an Adults Only certificate from the CBFC. Now the biggie’s censor certificate has come out with an approved runtime of 170 minutes (2 hours and 50 minutes).
Given the ensemble star cast, the lengthy runtime appears justified, but we can only judge that on August 14. Backed by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander. Rajini will be seen in a grey-shaded role in this flick, which deals with luxurious watches.
