Srinivasa Mangapuram, the debut film of Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, son of late Ramesh Babu, grandson of Superstar Krishna, and nephew of Mahesh Babu, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film also marks the Telugu debut of Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon.

Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the romantic action drama is available to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The multilingual release gives the film an opportunity to reach a wider audience on the OTT platform.

The film did not perform as expected during its theatrical run and will now get a second opportunity to connect with audiences through OTT. It remains to be seen whether Srinivasa Mangapuram finds a stronger response on the streaming platform.

Mister Middle Class is a Telugu socio-fantasy family comedy that hit the big screens on July 17, 2026. Directed by G. Produced under the Blu.j Creations banner, Mister Middle Class has music by Sai Karthik. With its theatrical run over, the film is now heading to Aha for its digital premiere, and it remains to be seen whether it can connect with OTT audiences.

Starring Aaron Pierre, Kyle Chandler, Nathan Fillion, and Kelly Macdonald, Lanterns will start streaming on JioHotstar in India from August 17.

Toy Story 5:
Woody, Buzz, and Jessie return for the fifth instalment of the beloved Pixar franchise. This time, Bonnie becomes obsessed with a new frog-shaped tablet called Lilypad, leaving the toys struggling to find their place in a world increasingly dominated by screens. The film will be available for rent or purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV from August 18.

Jana Nayagan:

Jana Nayagan, the farewell film of Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, has completed its theatrical run and is all set for its digital debut. The biggie will be available for streaming on ZEE5 from August 21 in multiple Indian languages. Jana Nayagan is the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2026. Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Bobby Deol played key roles.

Chennai Love Story:

Kiran Abbavaram’s romantic drama Chennai Love Story is a superhit in theatres. The film, helmed by Ravi Namburii, features Sri Gouri Priya as the female lead. After its successful theatrical run, Chennai Love Story is set for its digital premiere on August 21 on SonyLIV. The film will also release in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Pyaar Prema Kalyanam:

The upcoming romantic entertainer Pyaar Prema Kalyanam is all set to premiere on Netflix on August 21. Directed by and starring Elan, the film stars noted Telugu heroine Saanvi Meghana as the female lead, while music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Netflix is releasing the film in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Welcome To The Jungle:
Welcome To The Jungle, the third installment of the Welcome franchise, headlined by Akshay Kumar and an ensemble cast, had a decent run in theatres. Ahmed Khan is the director. The comedy drama will reportedly have its OTT premiere on August 21 on Jio Hotstar. Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Urvashi Rautela, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, and others play key roles.

Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the first look of its upcoming Hindi original A.S.I. Babita Singh Reporting, starring Nimisha Sajayan in the lead role. Directed by Ambiecka Pandit, the project also features Anshumaan Pushkar and Barun Sobti in key roles.

The first look has also confirmed that A.S.I. Babita Singh Reporting will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 28, 2026. The project follows Nimisha Sajayan as Babita Singh, an underestimated police officer whose visit to her in-laws takes an unexpected turn when she becomes involved in a murder investigation.

As Babita begins investigating the case, she also finds herself dealing with secrets and complications within her own marriage. The story combines a police investigation with a personal family drama, giving the project an interesting premise.

Written by Amita Vyas, A.S.I. Babita Singh Reporting is produced by Film Squad Productions in association with Act Three. Saurabh Malhotra, Manoj Mittra and Tina Tharwani are the producers, while Sudip Sharma serves as the executive producer.

Jana Nayagan marks the farewell film of Tamil Nadu CM Vijay. The movie, directed by H. Vinoth, didn’t meet expectations content-wise, but it sprung a surprise with its box-office run. The action drama isn’t a commercial success, but it is still the highest-grossing Tamil film of the year despite negative reviews, poor word of mouth, and piracy leaks. Jana Nayagan once again proved that Vijay is second to none in Tamil Nadu.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest outing I, Nobody received a mixed response after its theatrical release. Directed by Nisam Basheer, the crime thriller hit theatres on July 9, 2026, but could not make the expected impact at the box office.

Now, the film is ready to make its digital debut. JioHotstar has announced that I, Nobody will start streaming on August 25, 2026. The film was released in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil, while the complete details about the languages available on OTT are yet to be announced.

I, Nobody stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles, with Hakkim Shajahan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal and Shankar Ramakrishnan in key roles.

The film is produced by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R. Mehta and C. V. Sarathi, with Prithviraj Sukumaran also serving as a co-producer. Jakes Bejoy composed the music, while Dinesh Purushothaman handled the cinematography. It remains to be seen whether I, Nobody finds a wider audience with its OTT release.

Sumanth-starrer Newton’s 3rd Law was released in theatres recently and is now gearing up for its digital premiere. Directed by Rajesh Karna and produced by Harish Kohirkar, the crime thriller is heading to ETV Win.

ETV Win has announced that the movie will begin streaming on August 27, 2026. It remains to be seen whether the film finds a wider audience on the digital platform.

After making a splash at the box office and later on OTT, Malayalam hit Balan: The Boy is now streaming in another language.

Directed by Chidambaram and written by Jithu Madhavan, the critically acclaimed film made its OTT debut in South Indian languages and is now streaming in Hindi on ZEE5.

The film stars Adhisheshan KR and Farzana Palathingal in the lead roles and earned praise for its gripping narrative.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn, Balan: The Boy has music composed by Sushin Shyam. The film also features an extended cameo by Tovino Thomas.

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna joined hands for Cocktail 2, the spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail. Directed by Homi Adajania, the romantic drama has now completed its theatrical run and is heading to the digital space.

The latest confirmed update is that Cocktail 2 will premiere on Netflix on August 14, 2026. The film will be available in Hindi, its original language. It remains to be seen if the digital premiere brings the film a wider audience and gives it a fresh run with viewers.
