Sodhara

Sodhara

Exactly a year ago, a Telugu movie titled Sodhara was released. Starring Sampoornesh Babu in the lead role, alongside Sanjosh, Prachi Bansal, and Aarti Gupta, the film unfortunately did not perform well at the box office.

Now, a year later, the movie has finally found its way to an OTT platform. Aha has announced that it will arrive on May 1, 2026, and the audience’s digital response is now highly anticipated.

Produced by Chandra Chaganla under the Cans Entertainment banner, the film features Babu Mohan, Getup Srinu, and Baba Bhaskar in key roles. Sunil Kashyap composed the movie’s soundtrack.

Kara

Kara

Kara, starring Dhanush, is all set to hit theatres this Friday. Despite the makers organizing a promotional event in Hyderabad, the film has surprisingly failed to generate strong buzz in the Telugu states.

The action drama’s trailer promises an intense narrative and showcases Dhanush in a powerful avatar. However, when it comes to building hype and audience anticipation, the film seems to be lagging behind despite having popular names like Mamitha Baiju.

There is no major promotional hook or standout element that has caught widespread attention so far. With limited pre-release excitement, Kara now largely depends on its content.

Positive word-of-mouth will be crucial for the film to make an impact at the box office and connect with audiences in the Telugu market.

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is Pradeep Ranganathan’s recent outing, which failed to make an impact at the box office. Krithi Shetty played his on-screen pair, while Vignesh Shivan directed the film.

The futuristic romantic drama is now expected to arrive on OTT earlier than usual. While a four week window has become the norm, reports suggest that the film may premiere sooner, likely in the first week of May 2026 on Amazon Prime Video.

Backed by Nayanthara and S. S. Lalit Kumar, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the film also features S. J. Suryah and Yogi Babu in key roles. Stay tuned for more OTT-related updates.

Aamir-Khan-3-Idiots

Back in February, Rajkumar Hirani confirmed that a sequel to the iconic film ‘3 Idiots’ is finally in the works, instantly sparking excitement among fans. For years, there had only been speculation and hope, but this confirmation changed everything. Now, the buzz has grown even stronger as Aamir Khan, the face of Rancho, has stepped forward with a fresh and much more concrete update.

While promoting his upcoming production Ek Din, Aamir shared that the beloved trio is indeed set to return, putting an end to all doubts. His words carried a sense of certainty that fans had been waiting for, making it clear that this is not just an idea on paper anymore. The “Idiots” are coming back, and the project is already moving ahead with purpose.

Talking about the film itself, Aamir revealed that the team is currently deep into development and that he has already heard the story. His excitement was unmistakable. He described it as excellent and refreshingly unusual, while assuring that it retains the humour and emotional soul of the original. Although the screenplay is still being refined, the foundation is strong and follows the characters nearly a decade later. He also expressed his eagerness to return as Phunsukh Wangdu, the true identity behind Rancho, and reunite with Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi.

This update has only heightened the anticipation surrounding the sequel. Fans are now eagerly imagining how Rancho, Farhan, and Raju have grown over the years and what life has in store for them now. There is a deep curiosity about how their bond has evolved and whether their philosophy will still hold the same meaning.

At the same time, expectations are already soaring, with many believing the sequel has the potential to recreate the magic of the original. All eyes are now on this long awaited return, as audiences wait to relive a story that once defined a generation.
