The shocking buzz about Venkatesh-Trivikram’s family crime drama Adarsha Kutumbam has turned out to be true. SS Thaman has officially replaced Harshavardhan Rameshwar as the music composer for the big-ticket entertainer.
What makes this development even more surprising is that Harshavardhan Rameshwar had denied the replacement rumors a few days ago. The reason behind the change remains unclear. We need to see if the team will issue an official statement to offer clarification.
Kannada beauty Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead in Adarsha Kutumbam, which also features Satya and Yogi Babu in key roles. The movie is being produced by Chinababu under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner.
Riteish Deshmukh’s historical action drama Raja Shivaji took a bumper start at the box office. The film emerged as the all-time biggest Marathi opener, earning over Rs. 11 crores nett in India. Marathi version is leading with Rs. 8 crores nett, while Hindi version saw collections in the range of Rs. 3.3 crores nett.
The next biggest Marathi opener is Sairat with around Rs. 3.6 crores nett. The romantic drama still holds the record for all-time highest grosser of the industry with over Rs. 100 crores. Raja Shivaji now aims to dethrone Sairat to emerge as the new industry hit.
In its target market, Raja Shivaji is breathing fire, and the May Day holiday advantage also worked in the film’s favor. The film is expected to post solid numbers over the weekend, too.
Raja Shivaji also features Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Amole Gupte, and Genelia Deshmukh in pivotal roles.
