Many netizens pointed out similarities between a key restaurant sequence in Alpha and a scene from the French action classic La Femme Nikita.
Others also drew comparisons between a dialogue involving a wolf-sheep analogy and a similar concept used in American Sniper.
These observations quickly sparked debates across social media platforms, with some accusing the makers of borrowing ideas from international films.
At the same time, several fans defended the teaser, arguing that similarities in genre films do not necessarily indicate plagiarism. Bobby Deol also plays a key role in the film.
