Recently, the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce proposed a shift from the rental system to a percentage-based revenue model. However, the Active Producers Guild issued a statement rejecting this 60-50-40 percentage-sharing model, and Mythri Movie Makers is among those who opposed it. The effect is now visible on their new production, Jetlee.

The Asian chain & theatres under the control of SVC are not screening the film, including the most preferred premium multiplexes AMB Cinemas and AAA Cinemas. This is also the reason why bookings haven’t commenced yet for Jetlee in several single screens across Hyderabad.

The issue isn’t just confined to Jetlee. More films from top banners that opposed the percentage model might face trouble in the coming days, with TFCC and Producers Guild not being on the same page.

During a promotional interview for Jetlee, Cherry said, “The shoot is now happening at a good pace, and we will make it to the announced date. Prashanth Neel garu works at a fast pace, and it’s a known fact. After the failure of NTR garu’s Hindi film (War 2), we took some time and made changes to the story. Everything is sorted now, and the production is happening in full swing.”

The title and first glimpse of this heavy-duty action drama will be out on May 20. The biggie will hit the screens on June 11, 2027. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead. Ravi Basrur is composing the tunes. NTR Arts is co-producing it along with Mythri Movie Makers.

Bhogi is the next project of Charming Star Sharwanand after Biker. Directed by Sampath Nandi, the film features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead.
