Mollywood matinee idols Mammootty and Mohanlal shared screen space in the spy action thriller Patriot, which hit the big screens recently. Despite limited promotions, the movie took a fantastic start at the box office. However, due to mixed-to-negative word of mouth, the collections came down crashing from day two.

The movie’s second half drew heavy criticism, with many calling it bland and impactless. The latest update reveals that Patriot will start streaming from June 5 on ZEE5 in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.

Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the film also features Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Kunchacko Boban, and Revathi in important roles. Patriot is jointly produced by Anto Joseph and KG Anil Kumar.
