April 2026

The May Day holiday is usually a prime window for new films to hit the big screen. This year, major titles such as Dhanush’s Kara, Sai Pallavi’s Ek Din, Riteish Deshmukh’s Raja Shivaji, and the Mohanlal–Mammootty starrer Patriot are gearing up for release. With stars who have a strong fan base across India, expectations are naturally high for these projects.

Though Telugu releases were announced, the makers have remained silent, with Kara and Ek Din (Oka Roju) being the only exception. There have been no Telugu posters, glimpses, or even basic social media promotions to confirm these versions. This lack of visibility is puzzling, especially since the Telugu audience is known for supporting films from all languages.

At present, ticket booking platforms show no option to purchase tickets for the Telugu versions. This typically indicates that the dubbed versions may not be ready yet.

The Telugu box office is relatively open right now, with no major local releases scheduled. This could have been an ideal opportunity for these dubbed films to dominate screens and generate strong revenue. Instead, the makers appear to be missing a valuable chance to reach a wider audience.

The postponement of Yash’s Toxic opened a new opportunity for Ram Charan’s Peddi to arrive on June 4. While fans are requesting the makers to release the film on June 4, a new update has grabbed their eyeballs, and it is about the star’s transformation for the film.

Fitness trainer Rakkesh Uddiyar, who spent over 16 months building Ram Charan’s body for the sports action drama, revealed to Screen that Ram Charan has undergone three distinct physical transformations, with the third one kept hidden. He says that the third look will be a surprise for fans.

Two looks have already come out, with one being the village boy in a lean form playing cricket, and the other being a mighty Pehelwan with a bulked body. The fitness trainer’s revelation has got the fans talking about the third look. What is it that Buchi Babu Sana has in store? Let’s see.
