Amid this, a casting rumour recently went viral, claiming that JD Chakravarthy had joined the film’s sets. However, the actor has now dismissed the speculation during promotions of his upcoming film Gaayapadda Simham. He confirmed that he is not part of the sequel and did not participate in any schedule. He also reacted in a light manner, saying he appreciates the buzz but there is no truth to it.

The sequel is being mounted on a massive scale by Vyjayanthi Movies, with Kamal Haasan expected to have a more prominent role this time. With production moving ahead and casting speculation continuing, more updates about the film are expected in the coming weeks.
