Peddi featuring Mega Power Star Ram Charan is one of the most-awaited films from Tollywood. The sports action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana has been postponed multiple times and is now finally set to hit the big screens on June 4. While the anticipation remains high, repeated delays have left a section of the audience slightly disappointed.
Before April, there was a constant flow of updates that helped the film maintain strong momentum for big box-office numbers. However, with multiple release date changes, the team now needs to go beyond the bare minimum to regain the king-size hype. Hence, the makers should immediately launch the theatrical trailer without any further delay.
A well-designed trailer at this point can make audiences move past the delays. Also, it takes time for the promotional asset to reach audiences across the country. PAN-India biggies and Hindi films usually release their trailers well in advance, and Peddi should follow the same route with just a month left for release.
Peddi has the potential to open well, but for the box office numbers to create pandemonium and set new records, immediate trailer launch followed by aggressive marketing will do the job.
