‘Super Subbu’ marks Netflix’s maiden original Telugu web series. Initially announced a while ago, the highly anticipated show is back in the headlines as the streaming giant hints at an official release.
The web series is now featured in the app’s ‘Coming Soon’ section, indicating that it is fully ready for its digital premiere. According to reports, a June premiere is on the cards, with a strong likelihood of it dropping on June 26, 2026.
Netflix previously released a quirky, humorous teaser that resonated well with the audience and generated significant buzz. The project is being bankrolled by Rajiv Chilaka and Bharath Laxmipati under the Chilaka Productions banner.
The upcoming comedy series features Sundeep Kishan in the lead role alongside Mithila Palkar. The ensemble cast also includes prominent actors like Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Sampoornesh Babu, Hyper Aadi, Getup Srinu, and Manasa Chaudhary in pivotal roles.
