NTRNeel-1

Jr NTR is undergoing a remarkable physical transformation for his upcoming film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. The actor initially stunned fans with a lean and sculpted look, which, despite receiving mixed reactions, quickly went viral and dominated social media discussions.

Now, in a surprising shift, NTR is reportedly preparing for a second transformation. Under the guidance of a specialized trainer, he is said to be bulking up significantly to achieve a powerful, beast-like physique for the film.

This drastic change highlights the effort being put into creating distinct looks for the character. Interestingly, these two contrasting appearances are designed for different phases of the story, possibly spanning across two parts of Dragon.

Such a dual transformation adds an extra layer of intrigue and showcases NTR’s commitment to pushing his limits for the role. Stay tuned for more.

Dhruva-Natchathiram

Dhruva-Natchathiram

The long delay surrounding Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Chiyaan Vikram, has finally come to an end following a major court ruling. After years of setbacks due to financial troubles and legal complications, the Madras High Court has now cleared the way for the film’s release, offering long-awaited relief to fans.

Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy has directed that the film must hit theatres by June 15, 2026. In a significant move, the court has also taken control of the film’s financial handling, ensuring that all revenue generated will go toward clearing debts that have been pending since 2017. This decision is expected to prevent any further obstacles in the film’s release.

At the same time, director Gautham Vasudev Menon is aiming to bring the film to audiences even sooner, with plans to release it on May 22, 2026. While discussions with other producers are still underway, the project is now moving ahead with renewed clarity and momentum.

For Vikram and the entire team, this marks a crucial breakthrough. A film that once appeared stuck in limbo is now firmly back on track. After nearly a decade of uncertainty, Dhruva Natchathiram is finally set to reach theatres.

Ram Pothineni’s last outing, Andhra King Taluka, directed by Mahesh Babu. P received good reports and talk, but the film failed commercially. The majority of the people who saw the film liked it, but the problem is that many didn’t watch it. Mythri Movie Makers’ CEO Cherry spoke about the film’s poor theatrical performance while promoting Jetlee.

“Andhra King Taluka is a good film with neat emotions and drama. Even with good talk and reviews, the revenues were disappointing. The theatrical performance was a shocker to us, with the distributor’s share being very low. Producers are in a safe position due to non-theatrical rights. The result is an indication that people are not very keen to watch the films in theatres anymore, other than tier 1 stars,” said Cherry.

He added, “Even for A-listers, if their films are released during festival season, they will work. If released during the non-festive season, the business prospects look bleak. People have become habituated to watching films on OTT to reduce expenses. This is my understanding. Otherwise, there is no reason why people should not go to Andhra King Taluka. Movie-going culture is slowly reducing due to high expenses and shorter OTT windows.”

Comedian-turned-hero Satya teamed up once again with filmmaker Ritesh Rana for Jetlee, a comedy thriller. The duo is set to take the madness to the next level. Backed by producers Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Peddamallu under Clap Entertainment, with Mythri Movie Makers presenting the film, Jetlee generated enough buzz with its promotional content.

The release trailer has now been unveiled, and it finally reveals what the core conflict is. The narrative is centered around Prajapathi, a conman who drains the savings of middle-class families before fleeing to Dubai. His escape triggers a government-led chase, with a secret agent assigned to capture him, a mission that explodes into chaos mid-flight.

Satya plays a character caught between seriousness and unexpected silliness, constantly turning tense moments into comic gold. Even in action-heavy sequences, he brings in his histronics, keeping the tone playful. A special bit where he imitates Megastar Chiranjeevi is neat to watch.

Rhea Singha makes her presence felt with a role that isn’t just glamorous but also crucial to the unfolding drama. Ajay steps in as Prajapathi, bringing the right amount of menace, while Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha add layers of humour with their impeccable timing.

Ritesh Rana once again attempts an offbeat style, dark comedy with exaggerated situations. The unusual confined setting sets the stage for madness. All in all, the release trailer promises a fun-filled experience laced with thrills. Jeltee releases tomorrow worldwide.

Jetlee

Jetlee

Recently, the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce proposed a shift from the rental system to a percentage-based revenue model. However, the Active Producers Guild issued a statement rejecting this 60-50-40 percentage-sharing model, and Mythri Movie Makers is among those who opposed it. The effect is now visible on their new production, Jetlee.

The Asian chain & theatres under the control of SVC are not screening the film, including the most preferred premium multiplexes AMB Cinemas and AAA Cinemas. This is also the reason why bookings haven’t commenced yet for Jetlee in several single screens across Hyderabad.

The issue isn’t just confined to Jetlee. More films from top banners that opposed the percentage model might face trouble in the coming days, with TFCC and Producers Guild not being on the same page.

Producers are of the opinion that the newly proposed model will impact their revenues considerably, while TFCC believes it could bring back the glory to single screens. Let’s see how this standoff resolves.
